Biography of Tulku Lobsang
The venerable Tulku Lobsang is a highly regarded Buddhist master and a distinguished doctor of Tibetan medicine and astrology. He was born in Sichuan province, formerly the province of Amdo in northeast Tibet, and was recognized at age 13 as the 8th incarnation of the Nyentse Lama. Already at this age he was impressing people with his innate healing abilities.

In the following years, Tulku-la received an intensive education in medicine, astrology and many precious Buddhist practices. At age 17, he left Tibet for south India in order to deepen and complete his studies. In 2002, he established the Nangten Menlang Buddhist Medical Center in Manali, north India.

Every year Tulku Lobsang travels throughout Europe, Asia and North and South America to share his profound knowledge of Tibetan Buddhist philosophies with his students. He wishes to protect the ancient tantric healing knowledge and the Tibetan cultural heritage by offering to share it with us all. Tulku-la's greatest aim is to reduce the suffering in the world through this cultural exchange.
